US Youth Soccer Member Passes
Member Pass Definition
The intent of this policy is to ensure that all Alaska Youth Soccer Association (AYSA) Sanctioned Leagues use the approved US Youth Soccer player and adult member passes for sanctioned games and tournaments.
Member Pass Guidelines
  • The United States Youth Soccer Association national registration is good for one (1) seasonal year.
  • Each member pass must contain a current Alaska Youth Soccer (AYSA) Logo, USYS Logo, as well as an Alaska State Registrar signature.
  • A current individual photograph is required on the member pass.
  • ID numbers on member passes are assigned by the approved State Registration program and cannot be altered in any form.
Players
Competitive Leagues- All players and adults participating in competitive leagues will use US Youth Soccer player and adult member passes to identify and verify proper registration of the players and adults listed on the team roster.
Recreational Leagues- All adults participating in recreational leagues will have available to them adult member passes to identify and verify proper registration of the adults listed on the team roster. Player member passes for players are not required unless they are participating in a state-wide sanction tournament.
Adults
  1. US Youth Soccer adult seasonal passes will be issued through the approved Alaska Youth Soccer (AYSA) State website and program. Currently, (AYSA) is utilizing Stack Sports. Each affiliate club and /or association must establish and maintain an account with Stack Sports.
  2. Adults over the age of 18 who may have the opportunity to have direct interaction or unmonitored access with amateur athletes as a representative of Alaska Youth Soccer Association (AYSA) and all covered Alaska Youth Soccer Association (AYSA) Member Organizations such as clubs, leagues and associations are required to an annual cleared Background Check, review the (AYSA) Code of Conduct, certification of Protecting Young Victims from Sexual Abuse or SafeSport.
  3. NOTE: Before regular contact with an amateur athlete begins the adult must clear the background check and within the first 35 days of taking on the role giving them access to youth participants must complete the initial Protecting Young Victims training. A refresher course is required on an annual basis effective the calendar year following the completion of the initial training.
  4. Required Individuals Include; Affiliate Member adult coaching staff, directors, administrators, employees, BOD Members, volunteer coaches, team managers, trainers, chaperones, club volunteers, and certified referees. The policy will be used for all (AYSA) employees, contract staff, contract coaches, and BOD Members; refer to the Adult Verification: POLICY AYS082217-A
