Phase 1- Identification Pool for Age Group Players

The Alaska Development Program (ADP) utilizes a comprehensive scouting system in which players are identified in a natural game-playing environment for the state team pool. Player identification and evaluation will occur during the months of May, June and July. The steps in the process for selection for participation include: player nomination from Club DOC/TD, attends a site visit or receives a direct Invite from the ADP Director.

Player Identification and Evaluation Process:
a) Player receives a nomination from Club DOC / TD
b) Player attends an ADP District site visit
c) Player receives a invite from the ADP Director.
ADP District Site Visit Locations:
Anchorage, Palmer, Wasilla, Fairbanks, Homer, Kenai, Juneau, and Ketchikan
ADP District Site Visit Dates:
Fairbanks - June 25, 2020 / FYSA Fields
Ketchikan- June 28, 2020 / Esther Shea Field
Anchorage- TBD
Juneau- TBD
Kenai- TBD
 
Alaska Development Program (ADP) 2020- 2021 Program
a) The ADP player identification and evaluation will occur during the months of May, June and July. Player evaluations will take place during District Site Visits scheduled with local clubs. These visits may include evaluation at league games, or club camps.
b) The 2020- 2021 ADP Program Cycle will be for boys and girls born between 2002 and 2009.
c) For the 2020- 2021 ADP Seasonal Year the "Player Identification"evaluation process will replace the tranditional "Trayouts" for Player Pool.
d) The ADP Program will not accept Player Nomination from the following: Private Trainers, Parents, Board Members.
e) The ADP focus is to provide opportunities for players to train at an elite level with other players and coaches.
f) The ADP focus is to provide elite players in Alaska the opportunity to represent Alaska in Regional Competition.
g) The ADP focus is to provide the opportunity for players to be scouted for selection to Regional Camps and Teams.
e) The ADP focus is to provide additional opportunities to be seen by college coaches.
f) ADP will follow AYSA Return to Play (RTP) Protocols along with adhering to all Federal, State and Local guidelines and requirements. .
