Dan Rufner, ADP Travel Coordinator and counselor in the Anchorage School District for seventeen years, has led unique college tours since 2008. Alaska Youth Soccer is offering the tour as part of our ADP programming to current sophomores and juniors. Many say it is the best soccer experience they've experienced. This is a great way to visit campuses to aid in your college decision, get personal exposure to college coaches, and experience a high level of competition outside of Alaska.
ADP is excited to announce the College Soccer Tour for the summer of 2019. This is an excellent opportunity for current sophomores and juniors to start planning what schools fit for them, learn about collegiate soccer, and to be seen directly by coaches who want to recruit you
The summer of 2018, thirty-five Alaska players spent a week in Colorado participating in multiple games, and college tours; many players received offers as a direct result of the tour.
For players that plan to attend the tour in 2019 and 2020 they will have the opportunity to visit more than 25 campuses in Colorado, Oregon, and Washington to make an informed decision on where to attend and play when they graduate.
Official selection will begin in March of 2019, but we wanted to provide the dates to assist in purchasing airline tickets, especially for those coming directly from Far West Regionals in Boise, ID.
