The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
These 4 separate and distinct courses offer to coaches of grassroots players a variety of education entry points based upon ages and corresponding game models specified by the U.S. Soccer Player Development Initiative that include 4v4, 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11. Building blocks for learning include the Profile of the Grassroots Coach that outlines the 6 Tasks of a Coach, the Attacking and Defending Roadmaps that serves as an observational tool, the Coach’s Toolkit for managing teaching actions, and the Training Session Manual that guides the Play-Practice-Play Methodology for a holistic approach to creating reality-based, experiential learning opportunities for grassroots players. Course theoretical and practical content is delivered through a blended format which can include a combination of online, virtual, and in-person learning engagement.
