Thank you for your interest in the USYS 2021 Alaska State Cup. Alaska Youth Soccer understands that the current soccer landscape is extremely challenging. It is critical that our return to pre-pandemic life happens safely throughout our programs including our State Cup Tournament. Alaska Youth Soccer will be preparing for the event by facilitating safe operational guidelines to ensure we can mitigate the risk of spreading COVID-19.

The Alaska State Cup will be open to competitive teams 11-U through 19-U. All teams must be Alaska-based and Alaska residents to be eligible to participate. Players, coaches, and teams must be currently registered under the AYSA umbrella in the 2020-2021 seasonal year with a valid team roster with AYSA player cards. No out-of-state players or guest players may be rostered for State Cup.

Teams and players must have participated in an AYSA-sanctioned summer league or have been approved through the Affiliate Team Eligibility Waiver for Geographic Constraint communities and be currently in good standing with AYSA. Registration will be by calendar year (competitive age chart) as we transition to align the age groups traveling to the 2022 US Youth Soccer Regional Championship Series.

Awards

Match officials will recognize players throughout the tournament for their sportsmanship on the field. Be sure to take your photo with your "AYSA Fair Play" pin with the "I am a Game Changer" banner which is located at the stadium! #fairplaypins

Player all-state team selections and team fair play awards will be selected from each division and gender. Referee of the match selections will recognize two youth referees for excellence throughout the tournament.
